As previously announced, PROJECT ROGUE is a new crowd funding project featuring existing Rogue Records America artists teaming up with 16 cross-genre metal titans to create a fresh, new studio and video project. This just in – the donation period has been extended to Sunday, July 27, 2014!

Donate via IndieGoGo here - This fantastic group of today’s greatest heavy metal musicians can’t do this on their own – they need their dedicated fans to assist them in making this project a reality! Therefore, the artists felt more time needed to be given to let fans help out with this unique idea.

As a gift to fans, four PROJECT ROGUE – TITANS artists – Raymond Herrera (Fear Factory), Christian Old Wolbers (Fear Factory), Jed Simon (Strapping Young Lad) and Pat Lachman (Damageplan) – have released a brand new demo track, tentatively titled ‘Disciples’. Take a listen here:

In a group statement, Rogue Records and the artists above state, “This song is still in its early stages but we wanted to get something out to you all to let you know we are working on songs, structures, riffs and more.”

More exclusive tracks and teasers will be released in the coming months – but remember – the higher the demand, the more exclusive content gets released!

What’s New?

This project allows us to connect with our fans/members, YOU, in a way that we have never been able to. As the music and video elements come together, we can engage with fans/members like you who support our project.

What do I get?

We will be offering T-Shirts, limited edition vinylCD’spostersdrumsticks, remixing opportunities, Tama snare drums, DW drum pedals, Ibanez guitars, location visits via recording studio and listening party. If you are a musician yourself, we give you the opportunity to be part of the album by playing/recording with us.
When will it release?
Rogue Records America will be releasing the first PROJECT ROGUE album in the fall of 2014 on Digital, Digipak CD, Limited Edition Vinyl and even a DVD with studio interviews and more.

How will Artists collaborate?
All the artists on the roster will be collaborating with each other, finding the songs that they click with and then working on that song. Songs can have full performances from some members with others just having a solo, or a rhythm part or a chorus with that artist’s part on it.

The important thing is that the music will be a direct collaboration from all those involved, including Rogue’s emerging artists. Allowing them to work with touring / studio full time musicians they were inspired by, establishing new relationships in the industry.
How will backers be updated?
All backers will receive a link / QR code for a mobile / web application that will have progress reports, videos of studio work as well as to candid interviews, performances, updates, concept art and more. Backers will be able to comment on all work thru a forum on the internet. All feedback will be read by the artists.

You can find out more by going to the Official Indiegogo Campaign Page or the Official Facebook page.
