Subterranean Masquerade releases "The Great Bazaar" on Tuesday 13/01/15

Metalnews Power of

It has come to my ears that Norwegian musician Kjetil Nordhus (Tristania, Green Carnation, ex-Trail of Tears, Chain Collector) has joined forces with Paul Kuhr (November Doom) and Matan Or-El Shmuely (Orphaned Land) on Subterranean Masquerade's second full-length since 1997.

The Great Bazaar
is to be released imminently, on Tuesday, January 13th.

Already more than praised by the lucky reviewers who already have got hold on it, the album is strongly recommended at the dawn of Power Of Metal's own review. The Great Bazaar is on its way to us at the time of writing! Judging from the few excerpts available online, it can't be arriving soon enough.

This is the band's own description of their style: "Formed back in 1997 with an idea to mix progressive rock, doom metal and 70's-inspired psychedelic rock, Subterranean Masquerade creates music with that edge of extreme metal and the loose atmosphere of Pink Floyd and Iron Butterfly."

"Welcome to the carnival of the dysfunctional and the disturbed" !
