Introducing: Frantic Amber

Metalnews Power of Metal.dk
FRANTIC AMBER is a melodic death metal band with members from four different countries (Sweden, Denmark, Japan and Colombia). Their sound is an intense mix of metal filled with heavy riffs and soaring melodies combined with aggressive vocals. The songs are filled with contrasts between melodic parts and heaviness and are touched by a twisted and deranged atmosphere. The band has with its cross-cultural collaboration brought both national and international attention. Gigs abroad have been made in countries such as Russia, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Germany and the Netherlands. The band became well-known in the Swedish music industry in 2012 by an appearance on P3's Music Award P3 Guld 2012. Same year they won the Swedish final of the international music competition called Wacken Metal Battle.

The first years were about 20 gigs a year, including festivals as Sweden Rock Festival, Metaltown, Rockstad Falun and Wacken Open Air. The Sweden Rock Festival gig was recorded in its whole and broadcasted twice on the national radio channel P3 Rock Live during 2011 and 2012. In late 2013 Frantic Amber did a Scandinavian ten dates tour with SIX FEET UNDER and played for the third year in a row as one of the headline acts on Rock Bitch Boat.

As for releases and social media, FRANTIC AMBER has made three videos of which the first one “Wrath of Judgement” today has over 200,000 views, another one “Ghost” has over 160,000 views and the third one “Bleeding Sanity” is not far behind. The band's Facebook page increased in one year from 8000 to 35,000 fans and the fans anticipation on the planned album “Burning Insight” is very high.

We are happy to announce that Frantic Amber is booked for Zheleznye Devy Fest – Kaluga (Russia 8th March), Umeå Open (Sweden, 28th March), Metallsvenskan (Sweden, 30th May) and Sweden Rock Festival (June). The band has recently modified their line-up and are welcoming the new members Mac Dalmanner and Madeleine Gullberg Husberg (Dwarf).
